Selfhosting is the future. Don't rely on Oligarch tech.

Salesforce owns Heroku.

The giant clown ballroom has joined the chat.

... ofc that happened. 🤦

It seems it's still an ongoing thing as an indian actress signed up yesterday, but unknown whether Cena or anybody else withdrew.

Ah fair. This is what it showed.

The whole frog thing made my mind go back and remember a childhood game that made a huge impression on me and I'd think the developers would have a good chance of reviving it if Team 17 still owns it.

Meant to write background image*

Why I felt the need to pointing that out. This is their description of themselves.

Also zoom in on their background photo and see the melting details in the design all over. You don't need a checker to tell this is AI generated. The inconsistent details in the image and logo speak for themselves.

Forget about the brown color etc.

Try zooming in on it. That's where the real tells are.

Melting details.

The independently, self-funded employee owned studio thing kind of stops to matter if it's not them producing the work.

Granted these tests are more than flawed and can't be relied upon.
October 9, 2025 at 8:52 PM
Indeed. Essentially this.

Commenting for boost can also help.

My response to the claim that it's snakeoil in 3 parts.

It's not a permanent solution. The glaze team never claimed it was. Something static that can't be updated can't permanently be protected. That's simply not possible.
October 7, 2025 at 8:59 PM
@vriska.bsky.social I didn't mean to lock the replies. I thought you'd be able to reply as you were quoted. It hasn't been a problem before.
October 7, 2025 at 8:52 PM
The glaze team informs about this in their risk and limitations section on their website informs about all of this.

But you can never protect completely against something with one time protection on a static image in a world that keeps developing and changing.

Could do a more generalised report on this (see image) phenomenon and how big tech is buying up all the media companies.

Fx. the Free Press is being bought by Ellison & son, on top of TikTok, on top of Paramount Skydance merger and possibly Warner Bros. And investments in Tony Blair Institute.
October 4, 2025 at 1:41 PM
Don't worry, that won't be a problem here as the politicians are seeking to make themselves exempt from this rule.
October 3, 2025 at 10:53 PM
So the companies that seek to take all of your work and train on it without your consent has invented a neat little system that somehow does all of that. Weird. Sounds like a scam.
October 3, 2025 at 10:47 PM
Yup. Let's have less cookies and fight harder over those crumbs while the people owning the cookie bakery gets rich off of it.
October 3, 2025 at 9:51 PM
I didn't know it either. I spoke with a friend who pointed out the comment to me in a screenshot by LibsofTikTok. I couldn't see who he was replying to, so I had to look it up further. Came by several rightwing news outlets that are writing shit about Hamish Steele. Newsweek joined the chorus too. 😥

The "tech bros," she argues, are not just disruptors. They are enablers. In this schema, politics is no longer downstream from culture—it’s downstream from technology. Culture, in turn, is AI. What you see on your phone is not what’s true—it’s what the algorithm decides is engaging.

Reminder: Every time you see "news" like the one below written by the Guardian. Do check if they too are currently also in a partnership with an AI company or owned by someone who has investments in one.

Don't be naive.

It has been updated. just that no major change has happened in the timeline review since the 23rd.

I'll probably also depend on what you are looking at. The map Tuta is using is their own metrics. FightChatControl operates based on Government and representatives stances.

Okay, so there's a very real issue happening right now that I believe needs addressing. I've seen accounts I follow being added to an "anti anti ai" list.

The measure is being done in an attempt to protect AI researchers from ending up on catch all blocklists.

Ex. Margaret Mitchell's post.
