In my opinion, if you really want something, just have the balls to ask. I recently asked the singer of my all-time favourite band that I'd tour/record/whatever with them (as bass player) and they replied that it was 'noted'

This is a harrowing situation. Kids receiving treatment usually have their chemo timed into defined windows as they can have many complications pre and post chemo dose. In defence of the staff, they are absolute heroes given their salary disparity, long hours etc 1/2
