For those keeping score, Bellingcat, The New York Times Visual Investigation Team, & Washington Post's Visual Forensic team have all published analysis showing the ICE shooter wasn't in the path of Renee Nicole Good’s vehicle when he shot her, contradicting statements by the President & his cronies

Presidents? SCOTUS gives them immunity.

Corporations? SCOTUS makes it easier for them to pollute.

Billionaires? SCOTUS says they can buy elections.

But if you look Latino, speak Spanish, or work at a low wage job, SCOTUS says you can be abducted by masked agents.

The legacy of the Roberts court.

Carney: We are both undertaking massive transformations of our economies. Plan Mexico, Canada strong. Our efforts will be strengthened by working together. As President Sheinbaum said at the G7 summit — and I quote — “In an interdependent world, no country can isolate itself.”

We need to recognize this much more often than we do
Trump inherited an economy that was the envy of the developed world, one Biden's team navigated through post-pandemic inflation better than almost anyone.

In just a few months, Trump has torched it—simply because he takes pleasure in destroying his predecessor’s accomplishments. belib.org/ZqBtts4

History and Article IV’s Guarantee Clause makes clear that a state’s governor cannot remove members of the legislature. No governor has ever claimed such power. It runs against the full history of Texas and American democracy as a whole.

Governors Can Not Remove Elected Legislators. Period.
A democracy must have an independent legislature. Only voters elect and unelect representatives.

The economy is so good that I'm firing the BLS Commissioner for reporting numbers so grim I refuse to believe them, and also demanding the Fed cut rates typically seen during a recession.

This past week, I’ve had immigrants cut my grass, install hardwood in a bedroom and do some landscaping in my backyard. Who’s going to do these things plus build our homes, harvest our crops and process our meat/chicken? Really dumb. Criminals? Not these guys. Hard workers? You bet. I’m a fan!

The atmosphere is a needy sponge, demanding more and more water as it warms.

This "atmospheric thirst" is largely responsible for the increase in drought severity and areal extent seen in the last 40 years, a new study finds.

America is running out of doctors. Congress must step up
The U.S. can’t afford to lose more doctors. Expanding international students’ access to American medical schools is a good place to start.
