One of my favorite mystery writers has a new book and it has so many issues that should have been caught before printing. I'm literally flipping back, thinking I missed that detail but I didn't. It's so sad because the author is very good.

I can understand a company wanting to use ID*me for a house a car. Big things. But I'm going to give my state teacher number for a small discount on shoes?! I have to think about that.

CLARIFICATION :
The Trevor Project's hotline will still be live. But basically this means LGBTQ people can no longer be connected to it through the US national 988 suicide prevention hotline.
They will need to be contacted DIRECTLY

The Agriculture Department has axed two programs that gave schools and food banks money to buy food from nearby farms and ranchers. Roughly $660 million that schools and child care facilities were counting on to purchase food has been canceled.
