Libraries flourish despite federal obstacles in 2025
Due to Trump's Executive Order 14238, 2025 proved tough for libraries with threats to the federal agency managing library funding. The District Court eventually rescinded these cuts.

2025 was a big year for copyright - the US Copyright Office was busy! They processed hundreds of thousands of registrations and grappled with the biggest issues facing re-users and copyright owners.
