I don't know if anyone will be up in an hour or so, but I'll have A LOT to say about Charlie Kirk's murder, bad-faith right wing outrage, Trump's comments, stochastic terrorism, political violence, and "both sides" establishment hacks.

I'll be on later tonight live on The Left Hook...

This is an actual exchange from a VP who took an oath to defend the constitution and, as a citizen, is expected to abide by the law.

May we one day have accountability for the grotesque lawlessness of this regime.

The president of the United States just declared war, actual military war, not a metaphorical one, on a major American city, and one governed by his political opponents.

In any other period, this would be impeachment-worthy.

🚨REMINDER: Open Enrollment for Medicare is October 15 - December 7 for 2026. I would encourage those on Medicare (non MA), to research their supplemental/Medigap premiums. Also, please review your Part D RX plan as well. For 2026 you will enter catastrophic care for OOP RX at $2100. PLEASE REPOST 🙏🙏

His military flyover of the Epstein Survivor's Press Conference was like when a little kid puts their fingers in their ears, saying "Nyah, nyah, nyah I can't hear you!"!
Pathetic, hugely expensive & hilariously ineffective.

The President of the United States just essentially declared a war on Chicago because — wait for it! — Black and Brown people live here.

This is not normal. This is not okay. And we are going to fucking fight back.

I'm old enough to remember when polio put my friends into iron lungs.

We dutifully lined up at school to get vaccinated. We eradicated the disease. We protected the common good and saved lives.

What RFK Jr. is doing to public health in America is a disgrace.

It wasn’t until 1938—more than a half century after the Haymarket Riot and the national strikes for eight-hour workdays—when Congress passed the Fair Labor Standards Act, which limited the workweek to 44 hours, and then amended the law two years later to 40 hours.
Did you know in 1890 manufacturing employees worked on average 100 hours a week? It would be decades before the eight-hour workday became real. It took labor activists and labor unions to turn the cry for change into policy and practice. www.americaamerica.news/p/a-labor-da...
