a good part of me thinks that in addition to everything else, the reason they are scrubbing these stories is they do not want disadvantaged kids to believe they can aspire to anything other than their designated “black” or “hispanic” or “woman” job

#anupdateonourfamily really did more than it ever needed to humanize rehomers. They said rehoming on FB was part of the spiraling conspiracy theories. It's not. FB 100% cosigns that and it's no secret. #DanandTim had the same thing done to them as Huxley. I'll never forget that chill. The drop. 🥚

The ban on #trans kids: Children have no rights and this, for children alone, will devastate our country. The order includes adults ('up to 19' implies it definitely will). Future conversion therapy as billable, 'best practice' is the future. As an #adoptee family separation will happen. #war

Yikes! I was 10,000 in 1983 via a baby broker, too. A very very gray market adoption w the FBI involved. When I met my first mom I found out my birth dad- her husband of the time- was abusive and chased out of 3 states by the feds for trying to get bids on her pregnancy. #adopted #adopteevoices
I guess my question for this baby broker, quoted in 1980 (so adjust that $10,000 for inflation) is: How was it allowed to come to the point where my family identity and relationships would be determined by which party was richer? 🥚
