I disagree there. The destruction of science and medicine is a key problem for our future. Not the top one. But in the top 10 for sure.

Alan has it right - we had NOTHING to do with "climate hysteria" and the sudden inability to focus on trustworthy AI for weather is only going to hurt us. We need to find a way to fund this critical research!

We didn't do any such thing (as I'm sure you all know). We developed new AI methods for weather and worked to understand how/why AI for weather is trustworthy. What part of that is "climate hysteria"?

This is AI2ES, my AI institute. No way around it other than to say this is really awful. We are doing so many amazing things! We want to keep doing amazing things but without this level of funding, we will not be able to do so.
