👉 Une arène de coordination.
Renoncer aux COP, ce serait se priver d'un levier pour coordonner discours, pratiques et agendas.

Donc: les COP ne sont pas un gouvernement mondial - elles sont une arène de luttes qui doit être reconnue, renforcée, démocratisée.

👉 Une loupe grossissante sur nos contradictions.
Les COP exposent les rapports de force, les injustices, les blocages… et permettent de les politiser.

Mais prendre les COP au sérieux, ce n’est pas les idolâtrer. C’est comprendre ce qu’elles sont réellement:

👉 Le seul espace universel de négociation sur l’habitabilité de la Terre.
Sans COP, pas d'arène mondiale, pas de pression collective, pas de responsabilité partagée.

J’y reviens sur ce que la #COP30 révèle : les COP sont critiquées, contestées, fragilisées. Beaucoup doutent désormais de leur utilité.

Entre retrait américain, montée des forces antiécologiques, guerres et rivalités géopolitiques, le multilatéralisme est en crise.

Das ist doch nicht zu fassen. Statt europäische Solidarität zu üben lädt Merz Trump zum "Teile und herrsche" geradezu ein.
Meldung von Welt: Seine Botschaft an die USA sei vielmehr: „Ihr braucht auf der Welt auch Partner, und einer der Partner kann Europa sein. Und wenn Ihr mit Europa nichts anfangen könnt, dann macht wenigstens Deutschland zu eurem Partner“, sagte Merz bei seinem Antrittsbesuch in Rheinland-Pfalz.

11. It’s not just that people are wasting their time. "Population concern” also distracts people from things we *can* change. And, in many cases, transfers blame for the huge consumption impacts of wealthy people to Black and Brown people in poorer nations. At worst it’s straight-up racism. 11/12

Was der BDI in seinem jüngsten Monatsbericht über die deutsche Automobilindustrie schreibt, steht ja irgendwie in einem gewissen Gegensatz zum Einsatz der Bundesregierung für den Verbrennungsmotor.
Das Jahr 2025 ist geprägt von dem sukzessiven Vormarsch der Elektromobilität, auf die die deutschen Firmen insbesondere im Inland setzen. Deutschland ist hinter China und vor den USA der wichtigste Produktionsstandort für E-Autos weltweit. Bis einschließlich September wurden 1,26 Millionen E-Pkw (+ 29%) im Inland gefertigt, davon waren allein 916.000 (+ 21 %) rein batterieelektrisch angetrieben. Die hohe Nachfrage nach Plug-in-Hybriden illustriert, dass die Transformation ein schrittweiser Prozess ist. Im Jahresverlauf wurden 345.000 PHEV (+ 57 %) in Deutschland hergestellt. Der Anteil von E-Pkw an der gesamten Inlandsproduktion erreicht im Jahresverlauf 40 Prozent. Damit hat der Auto-mobilstandort Deutschland seine Hausaufgaben gemacht, was die von der EU geforderten COz-Grenz-werte angeht. Die strikten COz-Vorgaben im Bund mit der in Relation zu den Zielen noch zu verhaltenen Kundennachfrage nach E-Mobilität üben jedoch einen starken Druck auf das Gesamtmarktvolu-men aus. Export Die Exporte bewegten sich in den ersten zehn Monaten mit 2,7 Millionen Pkw auf Vorjahresniveau. Hiervon waren bereits 41 Prozent Elektro-Fahrzeuge. Autos made in Germany sind in Skandinavien, in den Beneluxstaaten, aber auch in Frankreich sowie in Spanien inzwischen überwiegend elektrisch angetrieben.
