Finland has emerged as a global leader in countering “fake news”. Here's how they've done it
Teaching when to trust
As fake news accelerates, we need to teach our children how to think critically. Finnish schools are leading the charge

I'm so sorry. As the leader of another center hit by NSF cuts, I truly feel your pain. We are also working to find a way to keep doing critical stuff and it is really challenging in today's times!

From what I see, AMS isn't in this greedy cycle. They don't operate the journals as money makers (but they do have to break even and pay their staff to maintain quality and that seems to be missed by this!) #science

Thank you! Won’t be quite dark at zero UTC but shortly thereafter!

Anyone know what time to look for aurora tonight? I was planning to head to a more rural part of town for less light pollution.

Oh yours is green! Ours is pink

Northern lights tonight! #okwx

I disagree there. The destruction of science and medicine is a key problem for our future. Not the top one. But in the top 10 for sure.

I don’t know who you are but I’m quoting stats. US universities were where top scientists came. Don’t believe me? Look at the stats. Doesn’t mean others are not good too.

Right??
