I never try to look at my transness and womanhood as a reason why I lost out on a job but then I see people who dont last 1 year at any job theyre at and has less of a portfolio get the job I was fighting for and I am left thinking, what could possibly be the difference between me and this cis man

It presents another complication in that I have to have my mask off indoors during this, and the doctor’s office, who knows I have this because of long covid, was baffled when I asked for additional precautions. They’ve reluctantly agreed to mask and let me bring in a portable HEPA, but still.
