My brother was sadly found dead in his flat last night after sending an ambulance for a welfare check as nobody could contact him. Reportedly he died a few days before Christmas.
Unfortunately he had an untreated mental health condition that made him avoid doctors even when very unwell

I know there will be a bunch of furries deciding their 2026 resolution will be to get fit/get in shape in some way or another
I have a strong temptation to take a few under my wing and help get started
Training and rehab have been my jobs for almost 17 years
Would be fun to build up more furries

I feel the need to clarify after seeing it said incorrectly regarding the TERFwizard game
"Death of the Author" refers to the fact that the author's intentions in a narrative are secondary and supplementary to the reader's interpretation.
Not that you can give bigots money and clout with impunity.

I miss being able to buy music for people as a gift
CDs, MP3s, whatever format people preferred
Now it's only "enthusiasts" of a format or method who even want music as a gift - even an MP3 or equivalent is largely unused

A little known feature of the Starling Bikes in Manchester (and Beryl elsewhere) is that you can unlock them simply by texting the bike ID to their number.
