I don't know who needs to hear this but the classic whistly noise you associate with radio tuning is the sound of the bias oscillator in a tape deck creating electromagnetic waves that interfere with AM radio at broadcast frequencies that are harmonics of the bias frequency.

The music in Schrödinger's Cat Burglar goes SO HARD, it's such a pleasure hearing it whenever I'm testing sounds in the game. It has been a great vibe guide for the sound design as well, @dreamtrak.bsky.social really knocked it out of the park with this soundtrack <3

The music in Schrödinger's Cat Burglar goes SO HARD, it's such a pleasure hearing it whenever I'm testing sounds in the game. It has been a great vibe guide for the sound design as well, @dreamtrak.bsky.social really knocked it out of the park with this soundtrack <3

I know a lot of people don't think they are capable of coding. I used to think that, but now it is one of the most satisfying (and frustrating) elements of my work, and the thought of surrendering that creative problem-solving (and creating) process is a chilling one to me.
