Key Fairy is designed to be played on my laptop. If your computer is different than my computer... I'm so sorry
Of course I, being a real indie game dev and overall man of the people, build my game at 270p.

Just like I made sure my website works for 800 by 600 monitors.

I am looking out for the common man .
It's true that a majority of players still play at 1080p, and yet it makes sense to author at 4K because those 4% of players are likely to be the most engaged, and to have the most disposable income

I have a friend who largely uses photos of US Presidents as placeholder art in games.

The "radical" role AI "art" currently holds in game pipelines could be filled with a low-res png of Biden.

A fresh one from me! I wrote about fandom, what characters "deserve," lesbians and our desire to Return To The Past.

What does it mean to wind back the clock and why does that seem to be *the* thing many folks want from art now?

A Game Doesn't Need To Be ‘By And For Fans’
Life Is Strange: Reunion could be a story that grapples with old choices and mistakes, or it could be one that tells fans and characters they "deserve" stories that make everything OK

There are no bad games, just bad players.
If you asked a nation of games developers whether it's rude to "assume you understand what the player wants more than the player does", you would spark a civil war.
