One of the producers on Guilty Gear Strive said it was basically impossible to source player feedback on balance changes online because nobody had original opinions and would just parrot what the most popular content creators said and so they had to rely on data and I think about that every day.

The ZX Spectrum port of the arcade game Gladiator (released as Great Gurianos) cannot be completed as the developer ran out of RAM and so just made the last opponent invincible. This was only discovered via a Spectrum messageboard in the 21st century where the developer confessed.

I think it's only fair to have gone to my folio's shelf for #RandomGameSaturday to pull out C64 Bard's Tale III as a little tribute for Burger Becky's passing.
Not spent enough time with it - the first is enough of a challenge, but it's an iconic entry in an icon series.

If you've watched my Hamlet: A Murder Mystery video you'll know that for reasons I don't quite understand there are weirdly few games that actually directly build on the works of Shakespeare, and as an English degree haver I am compelled celebrate each and every one of them.
This Way Madness Lies is a great game and barely anybody bought it. It should be played by more people. If everybody here on @bsky.app banded together and bought a Steam copy and played it, well, that'd be a miracle and I would be forever grateful.
