For anyone interested in catching up with the mess that is the conservative/right-wing side of BC politics: several months ago, Dallas Brodie was kicked out of the Conservative Party because the party could no longer ignore her residential school denialist views/cozying up with IRS denialists.

🚫 Exotic cats like servals, caracals & leopard cats don’t belong in homes.

Yet, they’re still legal to breed, sell & keep in B.C.—but that could change.

Tell the provincial government you support banning all exotic cats as pets.

📣 Take action: spca.bc.ca/news/speak-u...
Don't miss the opportunity to speak up for exotic cats in British Columbia!
The BC SPCA is urging British Columbians to speak up for exotic cat welfare. These are wild animals, not pets!

Dr. Miller is one of my heroes! I got to meet her in 2011 at the AVMA Convention and felt like I was meeting a celebrity. She is one of the mothers of shelter medicine and we owe her so much.

Celebrating Dr. Miller and everyone who works and volunteers in shelter med today!

This is really cool! A rabies vaccine, applied as a gel to fur, spreads quickly among bats as they lick and groom each other. That prevents rabies outbreaks in other animals. www.science.org/content/arti...

Not an uncommon question....

"Can I give a half dose of a vaccine to small breed dogs?”

Or

“An owner wants me to give their small dog a half a vaccine dose because they are worried about adverse effects. Should I do that?”

TLDR: No.

My first time back to QP since retiring from #bcpoli. I was on the floor as Vancouver-Quilchena MLA Dallas Brodie continued her ugly assault on residential school survivors and First Nations leaders in British Columbia.

Why would an MLA choose to incite distrust rather than build understanding?
