So many people who are otherwise so committed to good things are on Substack, which is very nice to bad people, ideas, and lies. My own newsletter was launched on Ghost because the bad news about Substack isn't new.
I am once again telling everyone to get the fuck off Substack leavesubstack.com

And a massive fuck you to the practice nurse who told me that the HPV vaccine was pointless because it targeted the wrong strain.
Australia recorded ZERO cases of cervical cancer in women under 25 for the first time since they started tracking the cancer in the 80s.

This is the power of vaccines.

The HPV vaccine is extremely effective at preventing cancer.

Viruses can be oncogenic. Get your vaccines and protect yourself!
newsGP - Australia set for world-first cervical cancer elimination
Vaccination programs have played a key role, and GPs remain ‘instrumental’ in boosting screening rates to reach the 2035 target.

Some people swear by it, while others don’t bother. But what does the evidence say about washing rice, and when should you do it?

Val knows what’s up. This just came, a nice note about my ginger pie.

It’s not too late. You could make one for Thanksgiving. Or, you know…the weekend, a birthday, your cat’s quinceañera. You don’t really need an excuse. Just make one when the mood hits.
