Replies are great, SO many great films here. You almost can't go wrong with any of them. Significant periods:
1940s-1950s
1960s-1970s
1980s-1990s
2000-to present.

Bill & Ted was THE Gen X movie. I know this because I made my parents hire it from the video store when I was 15. I'll have to show it to my nephew one day (he's 8 next week). Though I suspect he'll regard it in the same way as I thought of 1940s movies when I was his age.

Parker's piece is terrific and it reminded me of a great movie from 1987 called "No Way Out", where they gave the most realistic "enhance" speech by a computer nerd ever depicted in a movie or TV show, basically admitting that you have to steer "the algorithm" the way you want it to go.

Google gave ICE the sensitive personal data of a student journalist, including his bank account and credit card info, without even letting him know.

The company is also helping bankroll Trump’s vanity ballroom project.

Video games are special to each of us for different reasons.

Some of us were lonely, isolated, and had trouble making friends as kids. We were "different".

Video games gave us a feeling that we almost never got to have—A feeling of control.

And we finally got to feel what it was like to 𝘸𝘪𝘯.
