I’ve seen a lot of people talking about the Edmund Fitzgerald due to the 50th anniversary. We still don’t play Gord’s song lightly in the Yoop because it will make grown ass folks cry in their beers. We all personally know someone who was impacted and we’ve all had our own near misses on the Lakes.

I can’t remember who said it but the observation (paraphrasing) “If you’re wondering if something is about racism then flip a coin. If that mf lands? There’s your answer.” lives in my head rent free.
In Feb. on Velshi I said Trump won due to racial anxiety not economic anxiety, as evidence by his policies. The bill Republicans passed is the proof. Months of stoking racial fears through anti-DEI mandates, ICE raids, to push through a bill that takes food and healthcare from struggling Americans.

The "big ugly bill" is a concentration camp bill similar to the enabling acts. It is making ICE the highest funded law enforcement agency in the country with more money for detention than the federal bureau of prisons.

If so, it is time to start crafting some cool-ass laws. What a time to be a state legislator or an AG in a blue state. The Supreme Court just said you no longer have a boss. It's the last day of school, Democratic state majorities and AGs! Time to abuse some power.

What if one parent was undocumented? Asking for a friend.
Someone will try to get a class certified nationwide on this, but it is very unlikely to happen in the next thirty days. Meaning if you were born here, but your parents were undocumented, on TPS, or on pending asylum at the time, you're SOL.
