My keeper for the day: "Fascists don't deliver tax cuts, only misery."
Remember that when some electoral candidate is offering to cut your taxes.
Taxes are a way for all of us to get 'volume discounts' on health care/transportation systems/education/infrastructure.
You want that cut?
Wait until they’re disappeared.

Conservatives always find out too late that fascists don’t deliver tax cuts, only misery.
Re-covered. . . as in used to snort it off the cover.
And is now snorting it off the covers again.

What was the old cowboy western line: "Lower than a snake's belly in a wagon rut."

Pfffft. 'Suspensions'.
They'll be driven to another state's location and back on the job before you can say 'Dump Trump'.

ABn Separatist palsy 'deal' w Americans is bizarre. $500billion LOAN that ABns will have to pay back - with interest.
UCP gov hasn't exactly displayed the saviest of deal making that cld benefit an ABn public.
But sweet deals for friends/relatives.

You too?
Partner found their favourite TP for a low low price at Staples for heaven's sakes. Had to drive to various locations all over hell's half acres in the city to pick up all that was wanted.
They came home tired but happy.
We can now insulate the house walls w TP bundles.

Bondi suggests Culver City has a Crime Problem.
So if the US decides it has a Bondi Problem, do they get to send security units in to manacle her and put her in a warehouse for an interminable period of time?
The attorney general’s viral remarks befuddled many Angelenos, who know Culver City for its Hollywood history and chill vibes. From NYT National. Gift link:

How much are they thinking, 'Well, if AB Separatists are going to cause problems, we're not sinking billions into a project and have those arsehole WannaBeAmericans turn off the valve going to BC/West Coast.

I like this hand signal better than the right angle signal we were supposed to make with our left arms.

I guess that was back in the day when we were in vehicles and our signal lights weren't working - hard to shove your right arm out the car passenger window to signal a right turn.

I'd like to give you a dozen 'Likes' for your description of the way I've been feeling for weeks about this image.

Not exactly what I was expecting of Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstan's Mikhail Shaidorov won the 2026 gold medal in Men's Figuring Skating. I suspect, like me, a lot more people will be checking out his country.

Apocalypse no: how almost everything we thought we knew about the Maya is wrong
For many years the prevailing debate about the Maya centred upon why their civilisation collapsed. Now, many scholars are asking: how did the Maya survive?

SCC case today the biggest ever on s. 6 of the Charter? Very interesting stuff, look forward to reading.

Aside from the scope/meaning of section 6, the judges were unanimous on the reasonable limits of COVID restrictions by Newfoundland & Labrador.

Mtrl🤔
As far as this ABn's concerned, Smith shld keep HER hands in HER pocket if she's even considering it.
"AB SHLD HAVE IT" whine.
Until she starts campaigning FOR Cda instead of hiding behind Separatist traitors' signs, she can huddle in her Premier's Office on her hot line to Mar-a-Lago.🤢

Oh, ew!
I 'get' casual dress for a lot of public outings now.
