This is the second account - the first being in Chicago - of DHS agents mass detaining people and then *sorting them by race*.
More than 400 people, including hundreds of citizens, were “sorted” at gun point into racial and ethnic groups by 200 ICE agents who fired flash-bang grenades into cars with people inside, pointed guns at children & demanded their zip tied parents not comfort them. apple.news/Ausdx6kWtT0e...

I sincerely hope that some of these people wind up in prison. I know I keep saying that about Donnie and virtually everyone in his administration, that's only because that's what I feel needs to be done to correct the damage they have caused to the United States. We cannot allow this to go on.
I honestly can’t remember any prior AG being this overtly disrespectful in a Congressional hearing.

They really think they’re never going to be in the minority.

Maybe I memory holed it, but personal attacks on members of Congress during testimony just seems so out of bounds.

Trump says fraud is legal for white people
A Trump fundraising email tied to the SAVE act falsely claims that all you would need is a driver's license.

This seems like fraud?

It looks like something from eastern europe with babushka's and kids in robes and slippers wondering why the secret police is taking one of them to be tortured and killed
Every photo from Minneapolis looks like this. Cops decked out with guns and full tac gear facing off against people in bathrobes, parkas, and sweatpants armed only with whistles and cell phones.

Yet every verified MAGA chode on X dutifully calls it a riot or violent insurrection.

ICE needs to be dismantled along with the entire DHS. It was a redundant unneeded agency from the start. CPB can go back to where it was prior. ICE is a broken liability filled with violent thug rejects and absent leadership - you can't train any of that away.

NEW: A page from Bondi's burn book. This is a list of the searches by Rep Jayapal of the unredacted Epstein files. That means the DOJ grabbed her search terms from the computers they set up for members of congress to view the Epstein files to use as ammunition. The photo is from Reuters.

Her real job is serving as the king's personal prosecutor in a kind of Star Chamber, taking down his "enemies". Happily she's been a total failure at that too.
Pam Bondi has been a complete and total failure at her job. The Epstein survivors showed more courage just by being in that room than she did under oath. She refused to answer questions and chose complicity.

America deserves better.

Right. Don't say she wasn't prepared. She just wasn't prepared to be honest.
At the end of every question, Pam Bondi reads from her little oppo binder to get one last dig in against every Democrat. She came prepared not to discuss the facts surrounding the Epsteinfiles but rather to deflect the attention onto Congressional Dems.

PM Mark Carney didn’t blink. He didn’t fly to Mar-a-Lago to kiss the ring!

Instead he did what no Canadian leader has done in our lifetime.
He told the president of the United States to go to hell!

Now that’s how you handle a bully!

There ought to be contempt of Congress for that; she uses it the same way every time, as a diversion from the fact that she's evading the question.
Per @pabloreports.bsky.social: Bondi has a “burn book” organized by the names of Democratic lawmakers so she can attack them when they ask her questions.
