Well, the end to the shutdown's going about how I expected. Lots of hemming and hawing by the politicians while federal employees and others suffer for their grandstanding. This is why I think all politics are bullshit.

My brother taught a kid that missed a big kick in a state championship game a few years ago, wonder if it was this kid.
John missed an extra point in his state championship game in high school. He won $250,000 by making a kick on College GameDay with Pat McAfee at Texas Tech.

Voted. Kinda bummed they didn't have an accessible machine at the polling place we went to, but it was a short ballot and having my wife help me with it was fine.
