Lolz. Breaking news on pizza chains.
Pizza Hut cornered the market on pan pizza. We tried Papa Johns and Domino’s to see who does it best.

All three chains have thicker crust options, but Papa Johns’s pan pizza, infused with garlic, aims to stand out with toppings reaching the crust’s edge.
Papa Johns is taking on Pizza Hut (and Domino’s) pan pizza. We tried all 3.
Papa Johns just debuted a pan crust pizza, but how does it stack up against Pizza Hut and Domino’s?

The left tried for decades to pass green energy subsidies, passed them, the subsidies worked, and now literally the entire planet's electricity grid is going to convert to solar+battery. It just doesn't feel like "tech" because it mostly produces kinda boring blue collar jobs instead of billionaires

Less money for veterans means more money for cabinet secretary luxury jets and security details, bigger prison warehouses for immigration, and bigger skims to meet Trump’s vast vision of corruption.
As expected, MAGA is coming after disability benefits for combat veterans.

Here's just one example of the rule's impact: Veterans taking anti-depressants for PTSD will be forced to stop taking the medication in order to retain their disability payments.
Veterans slam new VA rule for determining disability ratings
The new rule states that a disability level must be based on how well a veteran functions while on medication and not on the underlying impairment.

5,000-Year-Old Bacteria Strain Found in Ice Cave Resistant to 10 Common Antibiotics
Bacteria are masters of survival, thriving even in the most extreme environments on Earth. A changing climate impacting these underexplored ecosystems, however, may be like opening Pandora’s box, unleashing bacteria resistant to conventional antibiotics into wider ecosystems. To better understand what genetic bacterial diversity is hidden in ice, researchers isolated a bacterial strain from a 5,000-year-old layer of ice recovered from one of the largest ice caves in Romania, only to discover its resistance to 10 commonly used antibiotics. Besides demonstrating the existence of potentially dangerous microorganisms currently locked in environments vulnerable to global warming, the study, published in Frontiers in Microbiology, laid out that exploring prehistoric bacteria samples preserved in ice caves might also hold the key to combating the rise of antibiotic resistance in the future. “[The strain] can also inhibit the growth of several major antibiotic-resistant ‘superbugs’ and showed important enzymatic activities with important biotechnological potential,” said co-author Cristina Purcarea, a senior scientist at the Institute of Biology Bucharest at the Romanian Academy, in a press statement. Antibiotic Resistance Evolution in Ancient Bacteria Bacteria have developed ways to survive exposure to naturally occurring antibiotics throughout their evolutionary history and preserve these skills in their DNA, which can...

My case for anti-doomerism about the midterms. But I want to break down a particular thing people keep floating: the idea that targeting only a small number of precincts in a small handful of districts would be enough, and they have the resources and manpower do that. Let's talk numbers. 🧵:

Vaccination rates are low.

And we have been warned that an outbreak could be large.

Some of the reasons are due to misinformation and disinformation. Thankfully the Government appears to be waking up.
