@washingtonpost.com This “update” by @bethreinhard.bsky.social about Laura Loomer’s speculations regarding the DC shooter underscores how much you’ve sunk into the bog.

Why would I follow your updates when they include what Laura Loomer thinks in this hellish rubbish by @bethreinhard.bsky.social?

Actually, Cheong is a real person, from Malaysia. Here's an image of him from a video chat about 10 years ago, before he adopted the MAGA tough look... Really, it's him before the makeover. (The full video is on YouTube.)

Yeah but there's some really brilliant light-bulb insight into this new way of managing tasks...

I mean, the depth of light-bulb insight regarding how to use the "analog" to-do list is really deep...

So why is there a Bluesky position called “Head of Trust and Safety” if it’s farmed out to some third-party AI company to do as they wish?

Bluesky needs to rethink its premises.

The two made a delightful 1979 film together directed by Sydney Pollack, THE ELECTRIC HORSEMAN, a commentary on values and capitalism.

The stupidity from the US is unending. A US company will launch a demo satellite next year—a giant mirror—to aim a 5km-diameter beam of sunlight to Earth, killing the night. Then it plans 4,000 BIGGER mirrors to blast away the night to whoever will pay.

America is out of control in so many ways.

Since you seem so uncommonly lazy, I've included a map for you. The white part is America/Alaska. The orange part to the left of America/Alaska is Russia.

Now go back to high school and study geography again.

Bye.

It infuriates me when news organisations base an entire article on some Leger "survey" using these panels. Leger has a website and app promoting these incentives like some sleazy supermarket loyalty-card thing.

They even have contests for those frequently taking the surveys...

If you've been to Waikiki, in Honolulu, you've seen the statue of Duke Kahanamoku near where his ashes were spread in the ocean off the beach, in 1968.

Thousands of people attended his funeral.

This QAnon wingnut calls herself Queen of Canada and her power comes from a secret cell within the US military. Also, extraterrestrial aliens support her.

Didulo has many RW and online wingnut followers.

She's advocated violence on medical staff and immigrants to Canada (which she is herself).

I tried a slight variation, asking "did the year 2000 take place 25 years ago"?

Google AI answered: "No, the year 2000 was 24 years ago, not 25 years ago. The current year is 2024..."

According to CNN, Canada is either in Central America or South America.

“…Canada and Costa Rica were the most peace-loving nations in Central and South America.”

Hire an editor. Canada is neither in Central America nor South America.

Fingerless mittens are WONDERFUL. I first started wearing them for technical mountaineering and rock-climbing, then for fly-fishing. There was a brand called Millarmitts, started in the 1960s by Robert Lauder Millar, that were hand-knitted at home by little ol' ladies in Dorset, UK.

No longer made.
