Eradicating poverty ( which is reducing suffering basically in buddhist terms) is the least profitable thing a state can do when every aspect of maintaining its existence relies on the management of poverty linked elements. We have always known this - i am not a genius. Greed is just winning

For better or worse, public figures are judged when they die — their character, contributions, beliefs. It's undeniable that millions have mourned Rob Reiner's tragic death, celebrating his talent and contributions. I suspect when a certain public figure kicks the bucket, sentiments wont be the same

I was up in the middle of the night watching Australian news coverage.
They were asking Australians on the street for their reactions, and one of them said that, prior to today, they had only seen mass shootings through American TV footage.
What a shameful and terrible legacy our country has.
