I loved the @empirepoduk.bsky.social pod by @willdalrymple.bsky.social & @anitaanand.bsky.social on the 1857 Indian rebellion, & went back to my grandparents' photo album. They visited Lucknow residency from Meerut in about 1923, my grandfather probably remembered his own Boer War siege experience
