This is such an incredible way to support two marginalized communities at the same time: buying food from immigrant businesses who are threatened by ICE and then distributing it to unhoused people and others in need. 🌯
It’s been another busy week dealing with the ICE occupation in Minneapolis, but I wanted to give you a Burrito update!
We started this project just over 5 weeks ago, and since then we’ve provided over 1150 meals for people, and spent almost $12k at local, immigrant-owned restaurants!

Looks like the extra-spicy transformer on the power line across the street is finally getting replaced.
Every so often it catches on fire a little bit. Has done for like… six or seven years?
I stopped calling it in after the third or fourth time they went “yeah they do that sometimes, it’s fine.”
