Will post daily:
It is absolutely unavoidable for someone who wants to be the PM of Canada to avoid a security clearance check given the new revelations about Modi. @PierrePoilievre MUST undergo the process to assure Canadians of his allegiances. @CPC_HQ must force him if need be.

It was busy

I've been trying to articulate why the fawning, complimentary responses from AI chatbots feel so insidious to me. I've finally figured out how to explain it.

1. Canada, I’ve said before that 🇨🇦’s increased commitment to #NATO & military spending, are not only justified, but would be foolish to ignore. Last night, @maddow.msnbc.com did an excellent summary of the reality of what is happening NOW in 🇺🇸. An authoritarian (even crypto neo-Nazi) state. #cdnpoli

Canada: Walk away from negotiations. Don't retaliate. Diversify. Find new markets. Buy European military equipment. Reinstate the digital services tax. Let Americans pay more for the things they want from us. Keep up the public boycott. Welcome American refugee talent. Be Canadian. #cdnpoli #USpoli

In exchange for less than nothing, Canada has to date:
-spent $1.3 billion to address a non-existent fentanyl border issue;
-introduced Trump-friendly border legislation;
-sacrificed the Digital Services Tax, at a cost of $1.4 billion/year.
It's almost as if the lesson is: appeasement doesn't work.

The Canada-UK-France alliance is exciting, healing, and hopeful. Add the balance of Europe and there's a strong alternate universe to American dominance and China influence. Someone needs to stand for the rule of law, diplomacy, and human rights

It should - must - do so unconditionally.

There’s more work to do.

Academically speaking, when can we reinstitute draw and quartering for traitors? Does Canada have no teeth, none, to lay down the consequences for idiots who want to sell us out to US interests?
How did Alberta decide what books were 'inappropriate' in its new school policy? By referencing lists of books banned in the U.S. and searching for the same titles in the province's public school libraries. Full story here:
More on Alberta’s book ban: government staff used an index of America’s most banned books and a controversial American website to create lists of specific books deemed “inappropriate” for school libraries.

Maybe the blue cities, which generate all the cultural & economic value in this country, should just spend all that value they create on themselves, and make cities real nice, and let the rural areas that hate & shit on cities every day fend for themselves. What a thought.

Serious question: Does anyone in the UCP believe in science, stats, evidence — or even that the Earth is round? Or is it all just borrowed from the American playbook and handed to whoever buys them hockey tickets?

“ICE” as snatching people from churches now. Never forget they said this👇🏾

MAN AT CHURCH: “We don’t want this in our property.”

ICE: “The whole country is our property.”

No IDs shown, non-government out of state plates, basic tactical vests that just say police. Who are these men?
