I spoke w/local food bank to ask what they needed to most as far as donations, and they requested cash instead of food donations as they can purchase what they need at a deep discount/wholesale rate. Just an FYI in case you were going to purchase food to donate vs. donating from your own shelves.

grocery prices? going way WAY up next month. i had to increase retail on cans of ground coffee beans yesterday.
i kid you not, the Maxwell House ones went up $15 entire dollars PER unit.

There's so many children at my gym. Some MIGHT be 18, but I expect those in groups aren't because if I were a parent I'd feel more comfortable leaving my child with friends.

It's difficult to find a good therapist. I am so grateful fpr mine. She doesn't play.

As a writer I want to sit and write a letter about how art impacts and moves me.
I want to let writers know how their work impacts because there are days when struggling with the story cloudies or muddies previous success.

We need more scholars to come from their ivory towers to share their research in every day language in everyday communal spaces.
We need 3rd spaces and quality programming encouraging intellectual thought and critical questioning.

But...and i think this is an ongoing conversation...we can't keep saying "we are not a monolith" and also getting mad when some of us don't see it for the leaders that you chose. I know our power is in unity, but this "you all suck because you don't like my person" ain't unity.
