they didn’t leak it to make the shooter look innocent, but to make the victim look guilty. not guilty of a crime. guilty of having a visibly queer wife. guilty of liberalism. guilty of opposing the regime. they don’t seek to exonerate themselves, only to demonstrate who deserves to die.
In the video that the shooter took, which I believe was leaked to be exculpatory, he appears to yell “fucking bitch” after he shoots Renee Good.

I don’t like to drive and whenever we’re asked to knock on doors in white rural areas I get no shortage of offers from my coworkers to ride with them. Based on the number of MAGAts who are gleeful at this murder, I know my protective stock value has dropped.
No joke I have been able to leverage my white lady-ness with cops so many times because for a long time, punching a white lady was a line they wouldn't cross and I could put my body between them and a more targeted body and mostly expect not to get hit or worse.

The state Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says they've been informed by the FBI that US DOJ has said FBI will solely lead the investigation into Renee Nicole Good's killing by a federal officer. State investigators no longer have access to "case materials, scene evidence/investigative interviews"

There's a German guy my brother is friends with who made this kind of statement on Facebook. Trying to explain our pointed lack of social safety nets, the tethering of our healthcare to employment, that got me nowhere with him. Renee Good was recording the evidence, as brave as could be.
I spent days hearing do-nothings whine “why don’t Americans fight back?! You’re all cowards” and the truth is that America—as an entity—will kill you immediately if you even look at a cop the wrong way
