There seems to also be a more general ml toggle (browser.ml.enabled) that I'd also suggest toggling off
Reminder if you use Firefox and haven't done this yet
to disable their A/I chatbot feature (not just removing it from your sidebar):
➡ go to about:config (open a new tab and type it into the address bar)
➡ locate "browser .ml .chat .enabled" (or just search "chat")
➡ toggle to "false"

I think a lot of the knee-jerk hatred for genAI comes from that it’s being made and pushed by soulless tech grifters who hate art, and that reaction is totally understandable.

Are dishonest creeps who are saying whatever it takes to get more vc investment, even if it has no grounding in reality. I do think there is risk of jobs being lost to GenAI and workers should unionize against that but also I think the threat ppl treat it as comes from taking liars at their word
