as a bosnian, i cannot accept this depoliticization of the mass murder that was directed against us. to brazenly claim that the violence has "no political or religious motivation" is beneath common sense. it harms any understanding of what happened in sarajevo and bosnia

kinda leaving out the fact that the YPG/YPJ only had the capacity to do that with the help of the US Air Force
I agree we have that obligation - I believe we can do it without authoritarianism - but it does require a high degree of organisation and coordination - the Rojavans took out Isis way and the Zapatistas have kept the Mexican state at bay this way

I really don't understand why Zohran inspires this kind of psychosis. I mean I get being hysterical about Israel, the anti Palestinian racism, the unreal amounts of Islamophobia, etcetera but this guy is legit just like lying 24/7 now and citing hate crimes from before Mamdani even ran for mayor.
I am begging the entire klal to go immediately to therapy.

I was going to say I have no words, but the words I have are for the Democrats we already have in office who simply said, "well at least I tried," when ICE refused them entry (illegally) at the gates of detention centers. They have legal power to force the matter. Time to grow up and use it
