Well, he can finish off Cuba’s economy by cutting off cheap Venezuelan oil now. Then we can annex Cuba and turn it over to MGM Grande and Hilton.

We don’t have the language to describe what the US is doing in Venezuela.

An invasion? We flew in helicopters and left with the leader.

An occupation? We didn’t leave troops but our ships are parked offshore.

Regime change? Maduro is gone but his allies remain.

What is it? We’re finding out.

Trump just announces the US will be running Venezuela now, until the can do a "safe, proper, and judicious" transfer of power. Announcing an occupation before you've occupied a country is a new one.

Let me be clear what is happening, the USA is trying to install their puppet in Venezuela and they won't stop until they succeed

When they have done it in Venezuela to steal their oil they will move on to Greenland, Canada, Europe, Nigeria...

FOX & FRIENDS: What do you think is next for the Venezuelan people now that you have removed Maduro so he can face American justice?

TRUMP: Well, we're making that decision now. We can't take a chance on letting somebody else run it, just take over where he left off. So we're making that decision

I'm losing track of how many countries a man livid he wasn't given the Nobel Peace Prize has illegally bombed.

Iran. Venezuela. Nigeria. Afghanistan. Iraq. Libya. Pakistan. Somalia. Syria. Yemen.

Not to mention threatening to annex Greenland and Canada and invade Panama.

They were told that by elites
After a year in which Trump has bombed ...
- Venezuela
- Nigeria
- Iran
- Yemen
- Syria
- Somalia
- and civilian boats in international waters
... I’m thinking about the voters who convinced themselves that Trump was the candidate of foreign policy restraint.

If Xi Jinping invaded Taiwan right now, and toppled the president there, on what grounds would the United States object? Or have any credibility to say anything?

For the Iraq War, oil made sense as a cynical imperialist motivation. In 2003, the US imported ≈11k barrels/day.

These days, the US *exports* ≈3k barrels/day. We have a surplus of oil.

I think Trump's plan in Venezuela is to expand on the El Salvador CECOT model, scale up his concentration camps.
