The same EU that found Farage guilty of misuse of public funds in 2018? Surely some mistake!

Most of our media is studiously ignoring the Epstein links to Brexit, Farage and far right populism. Farage is being touted for No.10. He wants an even more extreme Brexit. A race to the bottom to sell us out to this global network of oligarch crooks.
Why TF isn’t he being investigated and stopped?
Post-Brexit, Epstein told Thiel: "Brexit is just the beginning" – eyeing crypto deregulation via right-populism. 7/12

I guess all this brown stuff could be hitting the fan 3 months before an election rather than 3 years. If Starmer is lucky, there will be some more revelations about Epstein & trump in the coming days & the media will move on. Despite the outcry I suspect most labour MEPs do not want a new PM yet.

Seems the Russian media are not covering the Epstein files. It looks as though Epstein was working for somebody very interested in compromising senior western politicians and influential businessmen. The Polish government thinks it was Russia. And agent Krasnov?

True. We live in such an undemocratic country that not only are the legislators in the upper chamber not elected by the people but the people cant get rid of said legislators when they are discovered to be bad eggs. Time to get rid of the House of Lords.

The trouble is that many of the people who would need to create some instrument of international justice are in the files. It looks as though each country is going to have to decide if it wants to see justice for its own criminals. That means most offenders will, I fear ,escape justice entirely.

But the constitution does give the president the power to nominate supreme court judges who, if confirmed by the senate, can then reinterpret the law in any way they like. Time for a review/update of the relevant articles in the constitution ?

Hopefully, candidates to be a future US president will promise that when elected they will (a) tear down the white house ballroom and restore the original east wing and (b) do the same with the Kennedy centre. Thanks BTW to the all the artists who refused to perform there after Trump added his name.

Seems Epstein was a fan of Tommy Robinson. Maybe we should ask why.
“Tommy Robinson was mentioned in an email in 2018 when, upon learning the far-right activist had been released from prison, wrote: “TOMMY ROBINSON. !! good work”.”

I brought my towel.

The EU has countries falling over themselves to join.

As soon as the UK puts in a proper and formal application to Rejoin, the EU has already indicated that we would be fast tracked for entry, as 99% of our standards and regulations have not been changed since we left
It's only about lobbying on behalf of UK weapon manufacturers though.
I doubt the EU will fall for it.
