Labour MPs & party insiders tell me they’ve never seen Keir Starmer so angry as over Mandelson’s lies about Epstein links.

But those who know him well say that anger has now turned inwards. That Starmer is, above all else, a man of public service, and will be grappling with his conscious this w/e.

Why not build a new Parliament next to the Birmingham end of HS2?

Build a decent serviced apartment block next to it, so that MPs who need to stay there can do so without paying extortionate nightly rates to third parties.

Surely better than spending £11-£40 billion on the Houses of Parliament?

Exactly this.
Starmer..not named in the Epstein files is being told to resign for appointing Mandelson, whose links to Epstein were public and unchallenged at the time. Meanwhile, Trump and Farage are actually named, and the right-wing press just nods it through. Scandal for thee, teflon for me. #bbcqt

Rennard makes the point that: "for 25 years, political parties have had to declare their significant sources of income, but so-called think tanks that promote the causes of some political parties, and undertake research and produce reports helpful to them, do not have to declare any such funding."

Good for the labour government. Think tanks need to declare who is funding them. Too many are clearly bogus outfits set up to spread misinformation of behalf of the worlds super rich tax dodgers, polluters and shysters.
Boris Johnson’s Deputy Chief of Staff here, worried that secretly-funded lobby groups masquerading as ‘think tanks’ might finally be held to account. Because of course she bloody is.
