I am normal and completely sane. I am also very useful!
I've heard often about the brain body disconnection in autism. But a lack of filter to me is experienced as my body being "too" connected to my brain. What I feel is what I think and what I do. If I'm experiencing sensory overload, I am angry, and my thoughts become negative.

As an autistic person I'm gonna stop assuming I'm the one miscommunicating. I've had the incentive to learn better communication because I had no choice, so probability tells me it's YOU 🫵🏽 messing up the flow of conversation.

The more advice I take from non-speaking autistic people, the better my life gets by addressing my bodies needs. The better I address my bodies needs, the better I'm able to process information. Stimming literally helps me process information, not just regulate.

No but in all seriousness, poor black boys go undiagnosed with autism because their behavior just gets blamed on being a poor, black boy. Kanye reminds me of my Dad and Brother without the billions of dollars to make it the world's problem. Both autism and bipolar can co occur as well.

My best friend just said “there are now people who have lived before and after civil rights. There are people who were born before civil rights, they obtained rights, and now they are losing them.”

Im speechless.

I’m usually pretty good about sticking to a healthy diet unless I’m really sad or celebrating or bored or eating out or ordering in or if it’s the weekend or Monday or if there’s something stressful going on

I wouldn't rather deal with the left than the right, I would rather deal with people who understand how the world works without becoming personally invested and offended at everything. And we could get there so much faster if we didn't treat being wrong like a cardinal sin.

Hello I am a 29 year old black, queer, non-binary, disabled individual looking for others like me or not like me and just willing to learn and grow.

Egregious Muskrat and his ilk killed my favorite websites so I am trying to reconnect and build community.

I hate that feeling when you really want to play a video game but then you think about it for just a little too long and now it feels more like a chore than fun.

Don't have a boss fight unless it ends with a cutscene like "Beaten by the likes of you... Ridiculous." That's what boss fights are for.

People who are severely disabled by their autism do not necessarily have comorbid disorders. Having any trait turned up to the highest intensity is going to disable you. Any "positive trait" when imbalanced, becomes a deficit and that is what autism is.

Fox are all fur and this one's got himself a whopping huge vole of some kind. He won't need many that size before he's going to take a nap somewhere.

Found the best way to explain a lot of unrealistic kinks is that sometimes that your brain wants to try and conceptualize an abstracted+hornier version of the autism steam roller
