The slower I go, the more I listen. The more I support my sensory needs by allowing myself to seek with my limbs, antenna that translate information about the world into a tangible form, the more I understand. The more ways I communicate, the faster I learn.

Whose to say they didn't understand even *more* than I did? Hidden away, excluded, only set up to observe and never participate? While I was never given a moment to process, thrown into a sea of information? (Main stream.)

Sensory activities help my body integrate information, helps me coordinate my movements. As a verbal autistic person we are different, but so much the same. We can help eachother. My friends in elementary were from special education class. As we got older I no longer saw them.
