I just genuinely worry he’s going to bomb somebody to try to distract from everything.
And it feels like it’s just gonna be LIKE this from now on. Lower and lower levels of hinged from DJT every weekend until the “hinged” is completely “un-“. And/or it just up and Happens. Mid-post, quite possibly.
You guys. You guys. The week is NOT over. And we have a whole weekend of Trumpian crashing out and spiraling lying ahead. I just. You guys I just love this for us.

Out today, a visit to the "Trans Takeover" of Barton Springs: All across the stone slab, LGBTQ+ folks sat in clusters, talking and dipping in and out of the water together. ... Happy people who use every pronoun and none at all.
At Barton Springs, Trans Existence Becomes Resistance
Following a transphobic incident earlier this year, community members gathered to "protect trans joy."

This may be Trump's perfect social media post. A true work of art. He confirms:

✅He personally directs criminal investigations.
✅He is targeting opponents.
✅Epstein "records" exist and he knows the contents.

Bonus points for connecting it to investigation of his fondness for Putin.👀

I think this is a point of view worth keeping in mind when thinking about Patton Oswalt's suspension
Just gotta say as a trans person who gets death threats couched as "jokes", I'm glad that the rules are being applied this way. When mods are left to make subjective decisions about who is joking and who isn't, threats against marginalized ppl go unmoderated and we are told they dont violate the TOS

I’ll say this much: This reads exactly like what it is: people who discovered romance five years ago and decided they had all kinds of amazing new ideas to “fix” it. Connections between books? That feel kind of cozy to the reader? How did no one ever think of that?? www.nytimes.com/2025/11/13/b...

I thought the earlier news from A&M was bad, but this is incredibly bleak. It’s close to the point of not having a functional university.
Message to all faculty: your expertise is no longer trusted or valued at this so-called “university.”

I don't mean to be glib or trivializing: Texas A&M's "to end indoctrination you must teach only our doctrine" is some arbeit macht frei obscenity. No, of course it's not genocide. But it's the logic of sadistic erasure, the way in 1984 2+2=5 made even believing the truth impossible.
