Our friend Sclerophrys Regularis is a widespread toad with many common names, but our favorite is the African Bouncing Toad! When threatened, they often bounce around to scare or confuse predators! (photo by abotto)

Heartbreaking: Right now, thousands of Puffins are washing up along our coasts and further afield.

It is devastating to see.

These birds are Red-listed in the UK and already under serious pressure.

RSPB Abernethy has recorded 30 lekking male Capercaillie in 2025 – a 50% increase in five years.

There is still a long way to go, but through innovative habitat management and collaboration this threatened species could have a brighter future 💪
