Our friend the Dusky Litter Toad is also known as the Sooty Toadfrog! They are currently only known from a single location in southwestern Thailand! They are a member of family Megophryidae, also known as Goose Frogs, known for their camouflage and large heads! (photo by waramis)

Our tiny friend Brachycephalus lulai was first described as a new species just this year! They are named after Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, the President of Brazil! They live in highly preserved forests that are hard to access, which helps keep them safe! (photo by Luiz F. Ribeiro)

Our friend Wu's Lazy Toad is named after the Chinese herpetologist Wu Guanfu! They are also known as the Medog Lazy Toad because they are only found in Mêdog County in Tibet! Another name is the Medog Cat-eyed Toad, because unlike most toads their eyes have vertical pupils! (photo by 徐Kai)

Our friend the Gray Toad is closely related to our infamous friend the Cane Toad but aren't quite as large, only growing to five inches or so! That's still a pretty big toad! They live on the eastern Andean slopes of Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia! (photo by Omar Miranda B.)

Our friend Simpson’s Plump Toad is a very elusive toad who lives in the Andes Mountains of Ecuador! They are similar to many other toads in genus Osornophryne but have longer fourth and fifth toes and a stubbier nose! (photo by Zane Libke)

Our friend the Balearic Green Toad is most commonly found in Italy but is also found on the Balearic Islands in the western Mediterranean Sea!
