Remember when this was a hypothetical... we're going to prove him wrong.
Donald Trump: 'I Could ... Shoot Somebody, And I Wouldn't Lose Any Voters'
The GOP presidential candidate cracked the joke at a campaign stop in Iowa on Saturday. Less than two weeks from the state's caucus, Trump had been remarking on his supporters' loyalty.

I like to menacingly look my husband in the eye and declare "control is everything to me" when the Crohn's version of this commercial is on.
Last night a Skyrizi commercial came on the TV and the Dad and daughter are playing football and the play he dials up for her is... HALFBACK DRAW?!? Possibly the most insane play to run in backyard football??
"Kaghleigh, get over here, I'm going to force the invisible lineman to commit to the pass."

The plot required Din/Grogu travel with additional people to a place and have a conversation in transit, which the Naboo fighter can accommodate and seeing something people already recognize makes them happy because change is bad.
Din Djarin acquires “the same model” of Razor Crest in THE MANDALORIAN AND GROGU as he had previously, confirms Jon Favreau.

“He's in a Razor Crest now, which is the ship that he originally had. He's in the same model of ship.”

Kinda surprised this isn't bigger news but that may be because consumers don't get what it means.

Curious to see if Ro, Hims/Hers and other companies survive this or they take their profits and bail. They had notice in 2024 to wind down their GLP-1 products but instead opted to ramp up marketing.

The FDA targets mass-marketed compounded GLP-1 drugs, warning of safety risks and deceptive ads as enforcement ramps up for weight-loss injectables.

I acknowledge AI has its uses and potential but man am I getting more and more pissed off about the general public applications.

I scheduled my follow-up breast ultrasound, I've got Schrödinger's boob where all possibilities exist until we look in the box, very stressful...

So was the ten day shut down of airspace in El Paso an attempt to cover it up? Nothing that has come out justifies the original announcement.
Five-byline alert: 🚨

“.. the laser was deployed near Fort Bliss without coordinating with the FAA, which decided then to close the airspace ..”

Thanks AI overview in Google. When I was trying to interpret my mammogram results for telling me N5 is actually B-RADS category 5 rather than it's related to the position of the mass.

Very different things and I worry for other scared women trying to soothe their sky high anxiety.

The commercial it starts with a blatant lie that searching for pets hasn't changed in years after showing people putting up posters.

Microchips and GPS via things like air tags are very much a relatively new thing...

Then goes right into "we're remotely accessing your camera and analyzing it!"
have never seen popular public opinion shift so fast about a surveillance product than the fallout from ring's super bowl "search party" ad. they'll teach this in advertising courses one day. chef's kiss baby www.404media.co/with-ring-am...

Bitcoin crashed in 2022 down to $18k, people declared it was done and then blew up to $100k within 3 years.

Not saying it's a good investment, but it's known to be volatile. I think we won't know that it's failed for a couple of months or a year.

This is what happens when you experience a campaign not through what the candidates actually said or the policies on their websites, but via what your mutuals on social media are claiming they said.

It's why they claim Harris spent her entire campaign bending the knee to Cheney.
“I hate when people use this to show Chris Hayes is a moron because I, too, was a moron, so who can judge?”

And now those who voluntarily filed with an ITIN may never again because they don't have faith that the goon squad won't show up to their job and haul them off if the wrong person gets elected and opens up the IRS's data to other depts.

The damage DOGE caused is going to stick with us a long time.

Says the guy who did 4 years of undergrad, 4 years of medical school, a residency and fellowship. The guy spent over a decade as a student and training so he can fuck off with this kids have to start working full time at 18.
Dr Oz: "If we could get the average American to start working a year earlier, right out of high school, or a year later -- not retire -- or work better during their lifetime because they're healthy, it would generate about $3 trillion to the US economy. That would more than remove the debt."

Skipping right over telehealth for rural areas to no access to any clinician just an app on your phone.

There's been a lot of studies but LLMs aren't game time ready to even monitor BGs and adjust insulin. Which Oz should know, but sorry no diabetes educators, you get a chat bot instead.

This is why any takes that Joe Rogan is flipping on Trump are fantasy-ass, wish casting. He's going to be there wishing Trump a happy birthday to his face with a big old smile.

And lol 100k and considering the progress with the ballroom he'll just tear up the lawn and leave a pit.

The depressing thing about Don Lemon's arrest is the press probably isn't going to see it as a wake up call and start honestly covering things, they're just going to give the Trump admin even more glowing coverage in the hope they're not next.

Volunteering to be the Polar Express, to go big as an early adopter of new technology and have the result look weird and creepy.

There's a reason why the genre of hyper-realistic computer animated movies like Beowulf disappeared, unless you're 100% on target it looks weird.

I think this isn't just the US and a big piece is digital communication and especially payment.

Scammers can cast a broader net for marks and when they land them pay off is instant. Lower effort, higher layoff than waiting to see if your chain letter produces envelopes of cash in your mail box.
why is such a large percentage of activity in america outright scams
