We were playing Wheel of Fortune the other day and I lost a puzzle that ended up being an English city I wasn't familiar with but it shouldn't count because there are only 5 English cities:

I can't think of a single effective ideology built on the policy that "anything my enemies dislike must therefore be good." That's not me saying that you should try and find common ground, rather, I'm saying that if your enemies don't like sitting on the giant chainsaw, that doesn't mean you should.

A Hampton Inn in Asheville just canceled my family's reservation because our address (incorrectly) showed Asheville—and the hotel bars locals within 50 miles.
When I asked why, they said, "because of our homeless population," adding that most hotels here have similar policies.

Doctor Sleep was entertaining in its latter half, not really scary but a good setup for an anticipated confrontation. As is often the case the glossiness of modern film kind of hurt the atmosphere but the haunted house ride down memory lane at the end was fun. I've spent 2 and a half hours on worse.

Well this 3rd act is pretty good so, well played, movie.
My sister put on Doctor Sleep now and frankly it's kind of annoying me. Not quite sure what it's doing yet but it feels like it's trying way too hard to do it.
