This is not a peace plan. It is a proposal that weakens Ukraine and divides America from Europe, preparing the way for a larger war in the future. In the meantime, it benefits unnamed Russian and American investors, at the expense of everyone else.

Without evidence, the Trump administration has launched 21 known boat strikes killing at least 83 people. Now without congressional authorization or any provocation they plan to attack Venezuela for regime change. The “narco-terrorist” label for trafficking fentanyl is a lie. This is madness.
The last time America attempted regime change to lower the price of oil it embroiled us in a war for two decades

And that’s just ONE of the many, many reasons not to attack Venezuela

The criminality of extrajudicially killing thousands of innocent civilians would be another
Bessent: "If something happens down in Venezuela, we could really see oil prices go down even more."

This makes me physically ill.

It also makes me glad I’ve been able to keep my client, a man from Venezuela, from being sent out of the country.
Earlier this year, the United States deported 252 Venezuelans to El Salvador and paid its government to imprison them. Now two human-rights organizations have found that all of those men were physically abused, Conor Friedersdorf writes:
What the Deported Venezuelans Went Through in El Salvador
Forty men sent to El Salvador by the Trump administration have shared disturbing accounts of abuse by a regime that America paid to imprison them.

The committee that settled on the phrase “underscoring his determination to challenge scientific orthodoxy” should be dissolved and its members compelled to take a remedial course on the scientific method.
Breaking News: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said he personally instructed the CDC to abandon its position that vaccines do not cause autism. The move underscores his determination to challenge scientific orthodoxy — in this case, that vaccines save lives — and bend the health department to his will.

A president who speaks of death for dissent isn’t defending a nation, he’s claiming a throne. He names enemies so others will swing the sword. Power that fears questions always reaches for blood. Don’t give him the submission he’s seeking. Stand when he demands you kneel. #AuthoritarianAlert
