The House has passed the so-called SAVE America Act—a bill that could strip voting access from millions of women. By requiring documents like passports or birth certificates to register, this legislation threatens the voting rights of 69 million women who changed their last name after marriage.

Trump’s secret police continue to act with impunity—terrorizing communities, raiding child care programs, kidnapping children from schools, and detaining pregnant and postpartum people in facilities where they’re subjected to extreme medical neglect and mistreatment.

The SAVE Act means:

People scrambling for paperwork.
Married couples being told their names don’t match.
Naturalized citizens being made to feel like their citizenship is always up for question.

Call your representative and tell them the SAVE Act is voter suppression.

Thank you, @murray.senate.gov, for opposing Justin Olson.

This is why we need to pay close attention to the courts. Olson has been confirmed, but there is still time to stop another horrible judicial appointment.

Tell your senators to vote NO on Anna St. John: act.nwlc.org/a/stjohn?ms=...
🚨Throughout his career, Justin Olson attacked women, pushing radical beliefs about fetal personhood and undermining our basic rights.

He once preached that "wives are the subjects of their husbands."

Senate Republicans just gave him a lifetime judicial appointment.

Between now and Feb. 13, the clock is ticking on DHS' annual budget. This is a critical window to DEMAND that our tax dollars are not used to lock kids up, tear families apart, or militarize our neighborhoods.

Members of Congress have leverage — they need to use it. https://bit.ly/4rwf7S0

Congress must use its current leverage to ensure our tax dollars are not used to threaten protesters, put children in detention, or tear families apart.

Trump-Era Federal Layoffs Hit Black Women Hardest

You might've noticed a distinct lack of women in this year's Oscar nominees. If you're looking for what the Academy missed, check out our list of women-directed films from the last year that are worth your while.
The Oscars Forgot Women Filmmakers But We Haven’t: Here Are Six Women-Directed Movies That Speak to This Moment
Fortunately, women filmmakers exist whether the Academy recognizes them or not. And last year’s crop of women-directed films was especially resonant for the current moment—speaking to maternal isolation, impossible beauty standards, deeply entrenched misogyny, and of course, entitled white men.

"Thousands of women each year experience sex-based harassment, with WOC often on the receiving end of both race and sex based discrimination, but instead of guidance...this administration is spending our dollars on ads searching for white men aggrieved by DEI," said Gaylynn Burroughs, VP at NWLC
