We need public investments and economic policies that expand opportunity and address the inequities that cost Indigenous women hundreds of thousands of dollars over their lifetimes.

In 2023, the most recent data available, Indigenous women were paid 58 cents for every dollar paid to white, non-Hispanic men.

Native women who are full-time year round workers are paid 58 cents on the dollar compared to non-Hispanic, white men. The gap widens to 52 cents for all Native women workers (full time year-round + part time and part year), when compared to all non-Hispanic, white male workers.
