@nytimes.com—women didn't ruin the workplace, but sexual harassment, lack of equal pay, pregnancy discrimination, gender bias, lack of advancement and leadership opportunities, double standards, microaggressions, unaffordable child care, & the glass ceiling certainly did

URGENT: These senators just caved to Trump and advanced a measure that would leave 22 million Americans with astronomically high health care premiums. They know that this bill means millions of people will choose to go without health insurance, because they can’t afford it.

"Forcing women to become mothers by denying their humanity, stripping them of access to abortion and birth control, and requiring them to sacrifice education and careers to do so reduces women to their reproductive capacity."
Pronatalism: Just White Christian Nationalism in Disguise
Scratch just beneath the surface of the so-called pronatalism movement—a movement all over the pages of Project 2025 that’s based on the belief that people need to have more babies because declining birth rates are a threat to civilization—and you’ll find that it’s basically just white Christian nationalism in disguise.

New census data shows that poverty stayed high last year—and increased for black women. Nearly 2 in 5 working-age women living in poverty had jobs. This is a policy choice. With Trump's devastating cuts to Medicaid & SNAP, things will only continue to get worse for working people. We deserve better.

BREAKING: SCOTUS continues to bend the rule of law for Trump's fascist attacks, now by clearing the way for Trump's transphobic passport policy to resume.

This policy has nothing to do with security—it's simply another way for this administration to attack those it hates.

Children with disabilities rely on programs like CCDBG, Head Start, IDEA, and Medicaid for care and early education. But the Trump administration is jeopardizing them all—with a $1T Medicaid cut, a shutdown closing Head Start programs, and now gutting the department that oversees special education.

Last night, we went to the USDA building to send a big message to Trump: Half isn't good enough—FULLY fund SNAP. Trump has the power to stop this but chooses politics over people. One in eight families rely on SNAP, and half funding means hunger. Don't starve families so you can play politics.

Courts had to force Trump to do the bare minimum: use the money Congress already set aside to feed the millions of families on SNAP. We shouldn’t have to fight this hard for basic dignity.

Tell Congress: Protect SNAP, Health Care, and End the Shutdown:
Tell Congress: Reopen the Government AND Protect People’s Health Care
Every member of Congress—no matter their party—needs to know that we expect them to do their jobs, fund the government, and protect federal workers and our health care.

42 million people, including 16 million children, will lose access to food when SNAP funding runs out in a week.

Meanwhile, Trump is building a 300 million dollar ballroom + demanding the DOJ give him taxpayer money for his legal fees—all while encouraging the shutdown to continue.
