Diplomatic dude. I know a little about international economics. I once explained the electoral college on Mongolian TV. Climate change believes in you. Vaccines are good, actually.

Trump: "I want the money to go into an account for people where they buy their own health insurance. It's so good. The insurance will be better. It'll cost less. Everybody is gonna be happy. They're gonna feel like entrepreneurs. They're actually able to go out & negotiate their own insurance"

This. There’s a reason why the Tea Party wasn’t a new party. It’s much cheaper to take over an existing party. Mamdani doesn’t have to be an outlier, we can find more candidates capable of meeting the moment and free ourselves from these centrists and their enablers.
“Rather than taking over the Democratic Party the same way the right took over the Republican Party, we should take the easier route and just start up a new party ourselves!”

I’m about to fill my pockets with stones and walk into the sea.

Trump: "We're gonna issue a dividend to our middle income people and lower income people of about $2,000, and we're gonna use the remaining tariffs to lower our debt."

To be frank, from here in the United States, I wonder if our politics might not be healthier if we thought of Mexico as being as much of our 'brother country,' so to speak, as Spain or France and of Iraq and Syria not as infinitely distant 'others,' but as 'cousin-countries' as it were.

Two-thirds of California's power comes from clean energy.

For 9 in 10 days so far this year, we were 100% powered for some part of the day by clean energy.

The Golden State has become the world's fourth-largest economy because of our climate leadership, not in spite of it.

"Vance is a soulless striver who will sell off anything if he thought it would give him more power. We don’t have to ask if he would betray his wife and kids. He does so nearly every day by promoting a vision of America that has no room for them in it."
People gossiped about JD Vance and Erika Kirk. Then, inevitably, came the "don't gossip" scoldings.

Screw it! Let's defend wild speculation. First, these two deserve it.

Second, the gossip tells us a lot about JD Vance's political future. An analysis.

Japanese also has a word for 'the day after tomorrow', 明後日 (asatte)
Did you know that "noon" never used to be at 12? Or that a "second" is actually the second of something?

These are just a couple of the revelations in my latest wordy nerdy video.

Do please give it a watch:

Remember that insurance is actually a thing you hope never to use, and then read this critique.

I get angry with dems at times because I expect better out of them. I dont expect an ounce of decency, decorum, or dignity out of the gop. I'll always fight to elect democrats period. Repubs are the culprits for this mess we are in, however I'm tired of dems always having to save the day.

We've been hearing this tired Reagan-era talking point for 45 years: "I don't want to pay for some undeserving stranger's insurance!"

You already are, bro. That's how private insurance works, too--you just pay a lot more and get a lot less with the private version.
Comer: "This is a fake economy. You can't have 1/3 of America receiving some type of free government healthcare and then have another 1/3 that's getting a subsidized rate. That falls on the final 1/3 that's having to pay increased premiums."

Every educated adult in the U.S. knows this but the senate shouldn't exist. There is no justification for North Dakota and South Dakota to have four senators between them when the combined population of both states is smaller than that of Chicago.

President Trump is pursuing a policy of climate-change acceleration. His actions are fueling global warming—and may leave places in the United States uninhabitable by mid-century, Vann R. Newkirk II writes.
