This is surreal. 4 Oglala Lakota men kidnapped by ICE in Minneapolis have finally been located. One of them was released but the other 3 are being held at Fort Snelling, a former concentration camp used to imprison Native people incl. the Dakota 38 during Dakota Wars.

One reason it is, in fact, worth shaming those peddling "AI." It's on fragile ground, the cracks are showing and our refusal is actually really powerful.
There is no way to win this PR battle, LLMs and AI chatbots are synonymous with fraud, theft at an unprecedented scale, spam, abysmal quality, impersonal and ugly design, and dick-riding sycophancy that induces psychosis.

There’s reports that there will be 1,000 more agents coming to our city. We need that same surge in residents out patrolling our streets. Even if you can’t patrol, come work from a coffee shop on one of cultural corridors so you can be there to show up for our neighbors.

People amazed at the quickness with which Minneapolis Mobilized should know that the structures the community built to survive the last time we were occupied by an invading violent State Force never went away because THE COPS WERE NEVER DEFUNDED.
No, we don't have the resources right now for a general strike. We don't have the rent and food funds or the bail funds or the child and healthcare funds.
But the response to that isn't "welp, we're fucked, so much for a general strike."
It's to start organizing those things in your community.
