The physiotherapy feed used to be my favourite feed, but I spend so much time blocking spam sex toy accounts on it now that it's just annoying.

Wednesday night, so it's a hot bath with a book to get me through the rest of the busy week.

“Perhaps the better #metaphor is not a machine being repaired but a landscape being reshaped. #Neuroplasticity resembles erosion and regrowth: some paths deepen, others fade, and #change unfolds unevenly over time.”: buff.ly/AUqdBp1

What the metaphor of ‘rewiring’ gets wrong about neuroplasticity | Aeon Essays
The metaphor of rewiring offers an ideal of engineered precision. But the brain is more like a forest than a circuit board

New habits aren't fully ingrained yet. Wednesdays really horrible day meant I skipped my evening meal and just ate biscuits. Wallowed in the bath and didn't do any of the self care I had planned. Didn't go to sleep until late and woke up early stressing.
I'm still a work in progress.
Absolutely shattered, there are two new secretaries at work who have endlessly emailed me today.
Somehow, my new year habits of a small, healthy evening meal and an hour of studying are now so ingrained I'll still go home and do them despite tiredness.
This is either really good or really bad 🙃

"You and I we're done, I've trusted you and told you things and you've told my boss and I'm in trouble. I won't even say hello to you or anything."

Me who you didn't ever say hello to ever, In fact I haven't told her, someone else that's worried about how you treat me has.

Apparently my skin hates the new skincare routine I've been doing for the last two weeks. I'm too old for breakouts.

Interesting. After I had brain biofeedback for my #BrainInjury and using @mindaliveinc.bsky.social audiovisual entrainment daily, my asthma went away. Triggers no longer triggered. These neurostimulations reduce inflammation & microglia activity. This👇may explain why beneficial asthma side effect!

If anybody had looked my way they would have seen my face because I am tired of helping

Had to pay on the train to work because I'd put in the wrong date for my journey in. So I only had a journey back, and last Thursday, I had 2 tickets to go in and hadn't realised. £31 for a journey that is currently costing £4 with the rail sale.
Why can't we get people get out of their cars again?

Quick stop off at boots before work for some socks because I'd forgotten mine. Gets to my desk and opens drawer to find a few pairs of black socks, I'd forgotten I'd switched the drawers they were in 🤦‍♀️

I just spent 2 hours laid in bed trying out new goal tracking apps. All either don't offer what they say they do without paying or are very complicated.
Think I'll stick with my paper planner. Yeah, it doesn't make pretty graphs and is more work constantly to write out, but maybe that's better.

Lidl shop done, I haven't exactly meal planned for the week (I have vague ideas) so that was the most eclectic basket of food.

I have designated Wednesdays to relaxing. There is no exercise on Wednesdays, there is no evening studying, no balancing budgets or to do lists. It's nice to have something to look forward to in the middle of the week rather than feeling I have to get through to the weekend 😌

Famous white women who live dream lives have completely hijacked the term "wellness." #HealthSky

Some "much needed R&R?" From what? This isn't what working women are able to achieve so stop calling it fu**ing "wellness." It's luxury. Stop playing in our faces with that.

Not enjoying this insomnia. I'm struggling to pin down an exact reason for it so that I can try and fix it. I can get off to sleep but waking up constantly. Tonight I'll try the wind down teas to see if they help.

Popped into the art gallery today. It's the last day of an exhibition that I wanted to catch.

There was a piece of art that made me so emotional. It's the river I live by with all the bridges and old industries. Carved out of wood with the waterways made of sea green acrylic. It's beautiful.
