Catch up over tea with a friend at the vegan cafe so I could have cake. Had this lovely orange and thyme cake. Left my gloves on the bus 🤦‍♀️

Held my breath most of the way through, especially towards the end. Holy moly, that was a tense read #BookSky 📚💙

The living room light has just gone kaput, the fire alarm won't stop beeping as battery is low but previous tenant has crossthreaded the opening. The TV has sound but no picture.

Anything else?

Bridlington ice trail and Christmas foodie market. Missed the fire and ice show because it was too packed to see.

Two horrors and one lovely, funny light fiction read #BookSky #reading

Awake since 2:20am. Not sure if it's the splints or the stress waking me up. Probably a combination. Going to be a very tired Friday in the office today.

This started off so well, but I've noticed much like The invisible Life of Addie Larue, it just gets bogged down somewhere after the middle but before the end. I find myself skipping pages of repetitive storytelling #booksky 🪐📚💙

Very late for caterpillars, she'll never get any broccoli at this rate

I really enjoyed this, it's such a different storyline. Very original 📚💙 #Booksky

Penny was put to sleep at the vets yesterday evening after suffering a fit and then another once in the vets. She had deteriorated rapidly in the last week and stopped eating. Grateful for the two more months we got to spend with her since her diagnosis 💔

This week's reading, nonfiction for the journey to work, fiction for the journey home. Really enjoyed both books.

Saw these lovely pink blooms on my walk past the river to go to lidl.

Listened/read these two this week. Audiobook of 'The mysterious bakery' was a sweet little book with a romantic ending that mostly accompanied my cooking on Saturday. Read 'The quiet at the end of the world' on my journeys to and from work, hard to put that one down, very interesting storyline 📚🪐 📚💙

Really enjoyed listening to this, I usually don't enjoy books that switch between two timelines but this is a really engaging story. The mystery doesn't reveal until right at the end.

Glorious!

Have been listening to this and got to the last 3 hours, and honestly, it was so good up to this point, but with just 3 hours to go, I'm bored, and it needs to be done. I probably won't listen to the end.

Ah, Thursday, when I was asked if a certain hospital written in a spreadsheet was a GP practice? and it took everything in me, not to say the clue is in the name.
