We need to create a united culture of protest and activism. It is not enough to protest for a single cause when all that is vital to human and environmental health is being ripped apart by bad governments.

It also doesn't save any "red tape". It just creates an additional barrier to understanding whats in your food and means the seller can scrape your data.

Its a sh*tty solution to a non-problem that places the consumer increasingly at risk.

These guys are dangerous idiots. It's tiresome enough already having to read, and re-check, the labels on everything that I eat, and now they want to have me scan a QR code to get to that information.

And still, far too many folk surveyed don't seem to understand that crime is the result of doing all the other things badly, thus National aren't better at maintaining law and order but they are better at creating the circumstances for increased desperation, exploitation, and crime.

How far has police culture come since the Louise Nicholas case and the Bazley report?
In 2007, an independent inquiry uncovered a ‘male-oriented’ police culture ‘sceptical of sexual assault victims’. What's changed?
